Summary

Gobble, grow & glow! Be the first little, lousy lizard to blossom into a dazzling chameleon.

Game Description: Every player begins as a tiny, plain (chameleon) hatchling. Through hunting and munching, you’ll grow bigger & and gain all the colors to be the radiant chameleon of your wildest dreams!

Gameplay:

  1. Each round, available „snacks“ spawn in the midst of all players.
  2. All players simultaneously & secretly decide on which one they want to target.
  3. All choices are revealed at the same time and clashes resolved.
  4. Then, based on the food the chameleons grow, get faster or gain more pigments.

Winning Condition: The first chameleon to shine in all colors wins immediately. (On a tie, the group decides which chameleon looks the absolute bestest!)

You really „design“ yourself (as chameleon) while playing by stacking unique transparent pattern-cards on top of each other.

Family, Casual Players, Taste in aesthetics

Performed playtesting with friends and children, as well at game club in Zürich, at boardgame designer meetup in Zürich & Luzern, and at hexcon game festival in Trondheim.

Game mechanics work very well.

Design and print artifacts to be optimized (note: the transparent cards can hardly be tested for a prototype before final production – therefore handmade cards)
